Kiky and Jacky came from Hong Kong, had a ceremony at 9th of April, 2024

They truly love Japan and Kyoto, have visited Kyoto many times before, and held their wedding ceremony at Kamigamo Shrine.

They came to Kyoto for a preparation in early autumn, six months prior a wedding, and enjoyed choosing their attires and wig. They gently respect Japanese traditions and customs so that the preparations went very smoothly.

On the wedding day when the expected cherry blossoms were in full bloom, their family and friends from Hong Kong gathered to attend the solemn wedding ceremony at the main hall where is one of the national treasures in Japan.

After the ceremony, the bride Kiky changed her white wedding kimono to a colorful uchikake, shot many beautiful photos in the shrine grounds with all guests, and held a dinner party in the guest hall of the shrine.

They entertained the traditional Japanese hospitality to the all guests and enjoyed a wonderful time together. We wish Kiky and Jacky would keep happiness forever, and please come back to the shrine any time!

日本・京都が大好き！で、京都に何度も遊びに来られているおふたりが上賀茂神社でご結婚式を挙げてくださって本当に光栄なことでした。

お打ち合わせは主にオンラインやメールにて行いましたが、半年前の初秋に京都へお越しになり、ご衣裳選びや鬘師によるお鬘合わせもお楽しみいただきました。

日本ならではの伝統や慣習を重んじてくださるおふたりでご準備もとてもスムーズでした。

期待されていた桜がきれいに咲いている当日は、香港からのご家族やご友人も揃われて、国宝本殿での厳かなご結婚式に臨まれました。

新婦Kiky様は挙式後に白無垢から色打掛に掛け替えられ、皆様とご一緒に『境内ロケーション撮影』を満喫され、ご会食は当社内にある『客殿』にて開催。

祝福される親しい皆様に日本流のおもてなしをふるまわれ、佳い交流のお時間を過ごされました。
